When details of our personal lives gets blown out of porportion we lose balance. This is a human struggle, well it’s acctually a statement that goes beyond the individual. Social structures as well as nature also fails to function when harmony is lost. And then we struggle in the fast spinning self-obsessed turmoil of everyday living to reinvent unity; in nature, society or in our own mind.
My paintings and drawings engages in the exploration of statements like these. They linger between the individual, the enviromental, social and the trans-generational trying to seize some fleeting glimpses of some universal conciousness.
