Foundation Makers Unite is a Creative Platform where diverse talents meet. We strive to be recognised as a global network of creative locals and newcomers; largely with refugee backgrounds. At our Amsterdam atelier, our community works side-by-side international organisations to co- create meaningful products and collections. Our ethos is to use creativity as a means of empowerment.
Our mission is promoting social inclusion through the act of making, and on the way, change the narrative around migration by supporting newcomers in their inclusion journey.
Our production of fashion garments, upcycling, repurposing and repair services, serve as tool to make our vision of an inclusive society a reality.
